D. Public Forum Regarding Items Not on the Agenda
The Library Board invites citizens to address the Board on any matter, except items on the agenda and public hearings that are included on the agenda. Comments related to items on the agenda and public hearings will be heard when the specific item/hearing starts. Citizen comments are limited to three (3) minutes, unless otherwise required by law. The Library Board is not permitted to take any action or discuss any item not listed on the agenda. The Board may choose to place the item on a future agenda.
E. Presentations and Updates
1. Hear a report from the Friends of the Sunnyvale Public Library.
2. Hear the Director and Financial Reports for August 2026.
F. Action Items
1. Discuss, consider, and act upon the minutes of the August 18, 2026 Library Board meeting.
2. Discuss, consider, and act upon recommendations to Town Council regarding changes to Town codes affecting the library.
3. Review the library's Long Term Plan for 2021-2026 as part of the development of the 2027-2031 Long Term Plan.
4. Discuss, consider, and act upon the scheduling of Library Board meetings for November and December of 2026.
